Bring your millwork detailing skills to a fast-paced architectural millwork shop in Enfield, CT, just minutes from Hartford. This Millwork Detailer/Drafter opportunity supports a team that’s been delivering custom work for 30+ years and offers real growth potential with plenty of overtime.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Millwork Detailer/Drafter position include:
- 2+ years' experience in millwork drafting/detailing
- Generate both manual and electronic parts lists from shop drawings
- Produce detailed material pull slips and packing lists for shop personnel and shipping/receiving
- Create custom CNC programs using AutoCad and Microvellum
- Microvellum experience required
- Assign CNC coded machining processes to parts, jigs and fixtures as needed to aid shop personnel in assembly
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches and diagrams
- Knowledge of basic shop processes and CNC machinery, including familiarity with various woodworking machinery/tools
Salary: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
