This Casework Cabinetry Estimator opportunity supports commercial casework and millwork projects with a focus on delivering accurate bids and keeping schedules on track.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator position include:
- 3-5+ years of estimating experience in commercial casework, millwork, furniture, or commercial construction preferred; open to a normal Construction Estimator with no casework experience
- Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial casework projects using construction drawings, specifications, and project manuals
- Perform quantity takeoffs and identify materials, labor, freight, installation, and miscellaneous costs
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors; review addenda and project revisions during bidding
- Work directly with the sales team on each project and prepare complete bid proposals for on-time submission
- Participate in post-award turnover meetings, lead scope reviews, and identify potential value engineering opportunities
- Maintain organized estimating files and communicate with manufacturers regarding product selections, lead times, and pricing updates
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Medical (70% covered), dental, vison and life insurance paid, 401k with 4% match after 1 year, PTO - 2 weeks after 1 year, 8 personal days, and a yearly individual/team/company performance bonus tied to salary.
