Electrical Engineer is a great opportunity to contribute to real-world projects from drawings and calculations through fabrication support and installation coordination.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include:
- 8–10+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required); PE license in Texas preferred/required depending on role
- AutoCAD Electrical proficiency
- Strong PLC knowledge and AC/DC power and control circuit design
- Design electrical power and control systems for custom HVAC equipment
- Create wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
- Perform electrical calculations (MCA, MOCP, SCCR, wire sizing) and select electrical components with Bills of Materials
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and other applicable codes
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
