Description
A growing, award-winning commercial roofing contractor is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator in San Marcos, TX, with a fully remote schedule until the company’s new headquarters is completed within the next 18-24 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, highly supportive team led by a hands-on owner with deep roofing experience, strong manufacturer partnerships, and a reputation for quality work across Texas.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Roofing Estimator position include:
• 3+ years of estimating experience in the roofing industry, with commercial roofing experience required
• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects ranging from $400K to $1.4M
• Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and scope requirements
• Perform quantity takeoffs, material calculations, and cost estimates for labor, equipment, and materials
• Experience with Estimating Edge preferred; other commercial roofing estimating software is acceptable
• Coordinate with ownership, project management, and operations teams throughout the bidding process
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and bid requirements
• Maintain organized estimating records and assist with proposal preparation and project turnover meetings
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
