Description
A fast-growing commercial concrete contractor is seeking a Concrete Construction Superintendent in the Louisville, KY area, supporting traveling projects across multiple states. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that nearly tripled revenue last year, is creating new positions weekly, and offers quick hiring decisions for experienced field leaders ready to take charge of high-production concrete projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Concrete Construction Superintendent position include:
- 7+ years of commercial or industrial concrete construction experience preferred, with proven superintendent or senior lead foreman experience.
- Lead and supervise concrete construction operations across commercial projects such as Amazon buildings, data centers, grocery stores, and schools.
- Manage crews of approximately 7–10 team members plus subcontractors while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
- Strong experience with tilt-up construction, panel casting, erection, bracing systems, lift planning, and crane coordination.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper field execution.
- Oversee large slab-on-grade pours, elevated decks, high-volume placements, formwork systems, layout, embeds, sleeves, and block-outs.
- OSHA 10 minimum required; OSHA 30 preferred, with strong knowledge of OSHA standards, critical lifts, and bracing safety.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, typically Monday through Friday, with project stays usually lasting 8–12 weeks.
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 401(k) with 4% company match, medical options, paid time off with 2–3 weeks negotiable, paid holidays, hotel or Airbnb accommodations for travel, $50 flat per diem, mileage, drive time, and per diem paid when a day is cancelled.
