Join a rapidly growing residential construction company in Chicago, IL as a Carpenter Foreman and step into a hands-on leadership role with steady local work and strong growth potential! This is an exciting opportunity to work directly on-site with a busy, expanding team that specializes in residential remodeling projects including bathrooms, kitchens, additions, demolition, framing, trim, drywall, painting, doors, hardware, and punch-list carpentry.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Carpenter Foreman position include:
- 5+ years of residential construction or carpentry experience, with foreman or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong hands-on carpentry skills including drywall, painting, trim work, framing, doors, hardware, demolition, and punch-list tasks
- Assist the Project Manager with daily jobsite coordination, site meetings, scheduling, progress updates, and issue resolution
- Lead crews, monitor labor productivity, coordinate subcontractors, and help maintain quality and safety standards
- Track materials, tools, equipment, and deliveries to keep projects moving efficiently
- Ability to read plans, manage jobsite logistics, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced field environment
- Work directly on local project sites Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no office reporting required
- Support residential projects ranging from $20,000-$50,000 and $150,000-$300,000
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
