Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Operator - Brake Press position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience and at least 1 year of hands-on machine operator experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings while performing accurate measurements using precision tools
- Knowledge of basic math, component inspection, and crowning offset adjustments
- Operate brake press equipment safely and efficiently, including loading, positioning, and bending parts to specification
- Adjust tooling and bend angles, perform basic to advanced setups based on experience level, and complete quality checks
- Transfer programs from server to equipment, maintain documentation, report production rates, and track work orders
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to all safety and environmental protocols
- Strong communication skills with willingness to cross train, mentor junior operators, and work flexible shifts or overtime as needed
Salary: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
