Description
A leading water and wastewater infrastructure contractor is seeking a Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent in Southern Maine and New Hampshire to oversee hands-on field operations for pump station and treatment facility construction projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent position include:
- 5–10 years of construction experience, ideally working up from laborer or foreman into a leadership role
- Hands-on experience with water and wastewater projects, including pump stations and treatment plants
- Understanding of trades such as site work, masonry, metals, carpentry, equipment systems, electrical systems, and piping
- Lead and train crews while working alongside labor teams on self-performed field tasks
- Oversee subcontractors and up to five internal employees on active job sites
- Manage field execution for projects ranging from $500K to multimillion-dollar work, including potential $10M projects
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred, with Microsoft Office and Excel experience a plus
- Must be local to New Hampshire or Southern Maine and comfortable working 100% on site
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 50% employer-paid healthcare premiums for individual or family coverage, vision coverage, 4.5% 401(k) match, two weeks of PTO to start with PTO increasing by one additional day per year after five years of employment, a vehicle allowance of approximately $200 per week, tire coverage, insurance coverage, a gas card, and a significant profit-sharing bonus structure.
