Qualifications and responsibilities for this Water and Sewer Superintendent position include:
- 5–10+ years of water and sewer construction experience – Lead day-to-day field operations for underground utility projects including new installs, relocations, repairs, and tie-ins.
- Strong knowledge of water main and gravity sewer installation – Provide technical oversight on PVC, DI, services, valves, hydrants, manholes, and utility crossings.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, profiles, and specifications – Translate construction documents into buildable work and resolve field conflicts.
- Experience with grades, elevations, and trench safety – Ensure proper depth control, shoring systems, bedding, and compaction standards.
- Proven field leadership background – Coordinate foremen, operators, and subcontractors to maintain efficient sequencing and production.
- Experience working with municipalities and inspectors – Coordinate inspections, testing, and ensure compliance with local and regulatory standards.
- Strong scheduling and production tracking skills – Monitor labor, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and cost control.
- Excellent communication abilities – Serve as the primary field contact for owners, engineers, and utility representatives while supporting company growth efforts.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
