Bring your Civil 3D and residential boundary analysis expertise to a fast-paced surveying team serving the Chicago area, where high-volume residential work keeps projects moving and your impact is felt at the closing table. In this remote Survey CAD Drafter opportunity, you’ll support field crews and help produce accurate, substantially complete files for final review by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Survey CAD Drafter position include:
- 2–3 years of residential boundary analysis experience
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Ability to calculate residential property boundaries (not just draft pre-calculated information)
- Prepare residential survey drawings and support files for experienced team members
- Review deeds, plats, field information, and other relevant survey documentation to support boundary calculations
- Make corrections identified during internal or PLS review to keep production on track
- Communicate with office staff and field crews when information is incomplete or needs clarification
- Comfort working in a high-volume, production-oriented environment remotely or hybrid
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
