Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer (PE) position include:
- Active Florida PE license in good standing
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience (residential and light commercial)
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus
- Design, review, and sign/seal structural drawings and calculations
- Ensure code compliance with Florida Building Code, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and NDS
- Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, wood, masonry, cold-formed steel, and steel systems
- Coordinate with architects, drafters, and project managers in-office
- Provide construction-phase engineering support and respond to plan review comments
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a Simple IRA with 3% match, 2 weeks PTO (accrued), annual bonus of $3,000 through paycheck to help offset insurance costs, and case-by-case relocation assistance.
