Qualifications and responsibilities for this Steel Estimator position include:
- 5+ years of experience in steel estimating for structural steel projects
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Procore software for reviewing and managing project documentation
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and construction documents
- Estimate projects ranging from $2K to $10M, typically within 150 miles of the office
- Oversee project management after the estimate is complete, ensuring smooth execution
- Coordinate with superintendents and foremen but not involved in daily site activity
- Work on mid-sized commercial projects including 4-5 story buildings, hospitals, and churches
- Collaborate with a small team in an office equipped with necessary tools like print machines
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
