Qualifications and responsibilities for this Site Safety and Health Officer position include:
- 5+ years of experience as an on-site health and safety officer in a construction setting
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- Asbestos license or hands-on experience with asbestos-related projects
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations on-site
- Oversee safety for abatement, demolition, and excavation activities
- Develop and implement safety plans, conduct audits, and maintain documentation
- Provide training and lead incident investigations with corrective actions
- Communicate effectively with management, field crews, and regulatory agencies
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
