Bring your geotechnical expertise to Orange, CA and help deliver high-impact projects across commercial, residential, and public works. In this Senior Geotechnical Engineer opportunity, you’ll manage investigations from field to report, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers as you drive technical solutions.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Geotechnical Engineer position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in the geotechnical or geological field.
- GE License is required.
- Conduct geotechnical (preliminary and forensics) and geological investigations, including field inspections and testing as required.
- Analyze data and prepare geotechnical reports covering soil conditions, stability, and foundation design.
- Lead daily project management through planning to completion, including plan reviews, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Research and resolve design and construction problems; provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for report inclusion.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, construction teams, and owners; communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
