Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Electrical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7–10+ years of experience in utilities, power generation, or heavy industrial environments.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York highly preferred; must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Expertise in medium voltage (600V–34.5KV) systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution equipment.
- Familiarity with SKM Power Tools for Windows for power system analysis, arc flash studies, and short circuit studies.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, Navisworks, AutoDesk/AutoCAD, Maximo, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lead project management efforts for capital and maintenance projects, including oversight of contractors and engineers.
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal teams, outside vendors, and utilities.
- Willingness to work primarily on-site with occasional hybrid flexibility.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
