Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Chief Engineer position include:
- 10-15+ years of progressive engineering experience in large commercial office buildings
- Lead engineering operations including central plant systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and life-safety
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, establishing a culture of safety and excellence
- Oversee compliance with all safety codes and regulations; lead emergency response and risk management
- Support ownership by managing budgets, capital plans, and system upgrades from design through execution
- Direct service contracts and vendor relationships for major building systems and maintenance
- Collaborate with tenants, inspectors, asset managers, and contractors to ensure operational excellence
- Champion energy efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement through data and best practices
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year base salary + 20% annual bonus, commensurate with experience.
