Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential HVAC Service Manager position include:
- Residential HVAC experience required – Lead and manage the residential service and maintenance department
- Prior service leadership or supervisory experience preferred – Oversee a team of 8 HVAC technicians and ensure performance standards are met
- EPA Certification required – Provide technical troubleshooting support and guidance as needed
- Strong troubleshooting ability and customer service skills – Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction
- Experience coordinating service operations – Work closely with dispatch to manage scheduling and daily workflow
- Organizational skills – Support parts ordering and acquisition processes
- Commitment to team development – Schedule and coordinate ongoing technician training
- Valid driver’s license and clean background with ability to pass a 9-panel drug screen – Participate in on-call management rotation as needed
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including department-based year-end bonus potential, company vehicle, health insurance with 50% of the employee premium paid by the company, affordable dental and vision plans, $25,000 company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with no vesting period (eligible after 90 days), 9 paid holidays, and a flexible PTO program starting with 5 days in years 1-3, increasing to 10 days in years 7-10, and 20 days after 10+ years of service.
