Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Lead Inspector position include:
- Minimum of 3 years' quality control experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Perform First Article, In-Process, Final, and Receiving Inspections to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards
- Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 and NADCAP systems, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
- Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and investigate customer quality complaints
- Proficient in CMM programming and mechanical inspection tools and methods
- Oversee inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and final products
- Responsible for tool calibration, inspection equipment maintenance, and statistical process control (SPC) methods
- High school diploma or GED required; must be able to read blueprints and manufacturing instructions
Salary: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
