Join an innovative global leader in steel and solar manufacturing with an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector in Houston, TX! This company, part of a Spanish-owned multinational group with operations across Europe, the Middle East, and the U.S., is expanding its footprint with state-of-the-art machinery and a strong focus on quality and growth. They are currently hiring for 1st shift (6am–2pm), 2nd shift (2pm–10pm), and 3rd shift (10pm–6am) — offering flexibility and shift differential pay for night shift. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Control Inspector position include:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience required, with a strong preference for candidates with 4+ years in a manufacturing or quality control environment
- Must be proficient with calipers and OD micrometers
- Spanish language skills are a strong plus
- Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, Industry 4.0, MS Project, and Tableau at an intermediate level
- Verify, monitor, and inspect materials and production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Label and track materials throughout production and coordinate dispatch of finished/semi-finished goods
- Collaborate with departments and suppliers to resolve production issues and improve manufacturing KPIs
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, with potential for overtime and Saturday work
Salary: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour, plus shift differential for 3rd shift, commensurate with experience.
