Our General Contracting firm, a longstanding cornerstone in the community since 1985, specializes in constructing parks, trails, and recreational spaces, alongside vital municipal projects like street maintenance and erosion control. As we aim to expand our annual project volume from $8M to $10M and beyond, we need an Estimator who can lead bids and seamlessly coordinate with our Project Managers. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Estimator opportunity include:
- 3+ years of general contractor estimating experience
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of On-Screen TakeOff, Bid2Win, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook preferred
- Pursue new bid opportunities in areas like earthwork, landscaping, and street construction
- Obtain bids from suppliers and subcontractors, specifying materials and identifying suitable subcontractors
- Prepare complete and accurate quantity take-offs and cost analyses for labor, equipment, and materials
- Compile and submit estimates using client-specific proposal forms and participate in bid openings and pre-construction meetings
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
