A growing manufacturing company in DeKalb, IL is seeking a Pricing Manager/Estimator - Manufacturing to join its fully onsite commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a highly visible role with a low-turnover organization known for internal development, long-term career growth, and a strong path toward senior-level pricing or leadership opportunities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Pricing Manager/Estimator - Manufacturing position include:
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing estimating, pricing, cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/MRP system experience, including manufacturing costing methodologies.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, customer quotations, and pricing proposals for manufacturing and metal-related projects.
- Analyze BOMs, labor requirements, machine utilization, tooling costs, overhead expenses, and cost variances.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability, market competitiveness, and customer requirements.
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to support quote follow-up, cost analysis, and pricing decisions.
- Monitor raw material trends, supplier pricing, margins, and market conditions to identify pricing risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
