Qualifications and responsibilities for this Paving Superintendent position include:
- 5+ years of asphalt paving experience required
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving methods, grading, compaction, and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily paving operations while managing crews, foremen, and subcontractors
- Monitor production, coordinate labor, materials, trucking, and equipment resources, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within quality standards
- Lead safety meetings, conduct jobsite inspections, maintain production records, and communicate with project managers, owners, inspectors, and customers regarding project progress
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
