Qualifications and responsibilities for this Painting Estimator / Project Manager position include:

  • 5+ years of experience in project estimating and project management; oversee commercial painting projects from planning through completion.
  • Experience in the commercial painting field; prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and cost projections.
  • Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and estimating software; perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing calculations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications; review blueprints and develop comprehensive scopes of work.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills; manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing budgets; control project costs and maintain profitability.
  • Excellent communication and client relations skills; meet with clients, conduct site visits, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; travel to job sites and monitor field progress and quality standards.

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
