Step into a leadership role as a Millwork Production Foreman/GM in Manchester, CT, with a thriving custom millwork company that has been delivering innovative cabinetry solutions for over 40 years! This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization that has doubled its headcount and generates nearly $5M annually, operating out of an 18,000-square-foot facility serving clients nationwide. With design-build capabilities all under one roof and a strong reputation across education, healthcare, hospitality, and corporate markets, this is your chance to take ownership of shop operations and help drive continued expansion and excellence.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Millwork Production Foreman/GM position include:
- Experience running a millwork shop floor and overseeing daily production operations – Manage workflow, schedules, and ensure projects are completed on time
- Strong leadership skills – Supervise and lead 16 shop floor employees
- Background in commercial cabinetry and custom millwork – Oversee quality control and production standards
- Operational management experience – Coordinate facility operations and production efficiency
- Ability to collaborate with ownership and office leadership – Work closely with the CEO, legacy owner, and office manager
- Knowledge of project management and estimating tools (such as Bluebeam, Procore, or Excel preferred) – Support project tracking and production planning
- Experience in production scheduling and resource allocation – Ensure materials and labor are aligned with project timelines
- Problem-solving and process improvement skills – Identify workflow improvements and drive continuous growth
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
