We’re seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager in Pocasset, MA to take charge of daily production, scheduling, process improvements, and team leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a company that is scaling up after a recent acquisition—offering the chance to bring structure, drive metrics-based performance, and elevate the operation to a high level of precision machining.
Qualifiations and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Operations Manager position include:
- 5+ years of machine shop or CNC management experience, preferably with multi-axis machining
- Oversee daily operations, production scheduling, and workflow using an ERP system
- Manage employee training, development, performance reviews, and shop discipline
- Plan preventative maintenance and ensure efficient equipment use
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Coordinate outsourcing and manage vendor/customer relationships
- Ensure high standards in production planning, quality control, and cost efficiency
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance, dental and vision coverage beginning in April 2026, 401(k) after one year, and one week of paid time off.
