We are currently seeking a Manufacturing/Fabrication Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to take the lead on implementing new estimating software. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in metal fabrication and machining to contribute to a company that values precision, innovation, and teamwork.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing/Fabrication Estimator position include:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment and 2 years in estimating
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication, machining, welding, forming, and blueprint reading
- Prepare and finalize machining and fabrication estimates based on client RFQs
- Work directly with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate material takeoffs and labor estimates
- Perform cost analysis and develop labor hour strategies; consult with shop as needed
- Use CAD (2D/3D) for conceptualizing or interpreting technical drawings
- Help implement a new estimating software platform to improve efficiency
- Coordinate internal kick-off meetings and support production through the project lifecycle
Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
