Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering; support manufacturing and validation initiatives
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments; lead validation activities (FDA/cGMP)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for chemicals and plastics; improve production efficiency and reduce costs
- Experience with FDA regulations (21 CFR 820) and cGMP; develop and execute validation protocols and reports
- Proficiency in time/motion studies and process optimization; lead continuous improvement initiatives (PDCA)
- Ability to design and improve fixtures, equipment, and automated systems; support plant layout and workflow improvements
- Strong communication and leadership skills; collaborate with cross-functional teams and train technical staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems; manage BOMs, process documentation, and data analysis
Salary: $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
