Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manager of Preclinical Studies position include:
- Experience conducting mouse experiments, including handling, dosing (tail vein, gavage, intraperitoneal), and tumor model studies
- Strong knowledge of AAALAC requirements, vivarium operations, and HVAC, lighting, and alarm systems
- Ability to manage IACUC compliance and serve as liaison to the committee
- Skilled in performing non-radioactive and radioactive experiments with mice
- Proficient in maintaining cell culture lines and preparing tumor cells for injection
- Experience writing SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory documentation
- Capable of performing immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry on tumor samples
- Ability to collaborate with IT to implement electronic animal records and ensure traceability
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
