This Lead Machinist Programmer position in Little Falls, NJ (Woodland Park area) offers the opportunity to work in a clean, organized, family-oriented shop producing high-precision, GMP/FDA-compliant components—not repetitive job shop work, but custom parts for the company’s own advanced process equipment. With cutting-edge CNC equipment, aerospace-level ISO standards, and a collaborative team of just 10 employees, this is your chance to make a real impact while enjoying a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead Machinist Programmer position include:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (8+ years preferred); lead daily machining operations and support two operators with setups and troubleshooting
- Strong experience programming and editing at the machine using Mastercam; develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and mills
- Experience with Haas, Southwestern, and Samsung CNC machines; operate and oversee 7–8 machines in a low-volume, high-precision environment
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls; adjust offsets, tooling, and machine parameters for precision results
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; ensure parts meet strict GMP/FDA and ISO-level standards
- Perform setup, tooling installation, test runs, and in-process/final inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues; maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards
- Collaborate with leadership and production teams in a hands-on, team-oriented manufacturing environment
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
