Bring your purchasing expertise to a fast-moving industrial operation in Roanoke, TX, where your work directly supports complex mechanical and manufacturing projects. In this Industrial Purchasing Agent opportunity, you’ll source power transmission components and high-quality industrial materials while building strong vendor relationships that keep products arriving on time and to spec.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Purchasing Agent position include:
- Industrial purchasing experience with power transmission components and materials for large construction equipment.
- Source power transmission components and industrial materials.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes, pricing, lead times, and product quality.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable purchasing terms.
- Ensure ordered products meet quality and reliability requirements.
- Monitor orders and coordinate timely delivery of materials.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships and identify dependable suppliers.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor documentation and support cost-control efforts without sacrificing product standards.
Salary: Based on experience and education.
