We are seeking a Industrial Electrical Superintendent – Electrical /Controls in Winter Haven, FL to oversee critical electrical and automation installations for municipal and federal clients. This well-established contractor, founded in 2006, specializes in self-performing electrical, PLC/SCADA, and water infrastructure projects—offering you the opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role with a mission-driven company focused on quality, sustainability, and long-term community value.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Electrical Superintendent – Electrical /Controls position include:

  • Minimum 5 years of field experience in government, industrial, or commercial sectors; oversee daily field operations and ensure successful execution of electrical/control projects
  • Experience supervising projects involving generators, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and utility tie-ins; manage installation of power distribution systems
  • Background in water/wastewater facilities, pumping stations, or similar infrastructure; coordinate field execution of SCADA and automation systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC panels, control panels, BAS, instrumentation (flow meters, level transmitters, pressure sensors); ensure proper installation and startup readiness
  • Proven leadership experience managing field crews; enforce safety, quality, and performance standards on-site
  • Experience writing and managing change orders; track project progress, resolve punch list items, and interface directly with clients
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints; serve as liaison between in-house engineering and field technicians
  • B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related studies); must be a U.S. citizen able to pass criminal and driving background checks with a clean record

Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 401(k) with 3% company match, PTO (80 hours under 2 years and approximately 120 hours after 3+ years), medical benefits, and year-end bonuses typically totaling a few thousand dollars.
