Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Project Manager / Estimator position include:
- Minimum 3–5 years of mechanical estimating or installation experience, with a strong background in sheet metal, ductwork, and mechanical systems
- Experience reviewing engineered mechanical plans and specs for HVAC and sheet metal systems
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with CAD, BIM, Trimble, and COINS (a plus)
- Prepare complete mechanical bids including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs
- Conduct material takeoffs and perform job site surveys to evaluate project requirements and progress
- Collaborate with purchasing, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet bid deadlines and ensure project success
- Provide technical support and communication with technicians to develop project proposals
- Manage HVAC projects from start to finish, including site walkthroughs, client communication, and project coordination
Salary: $70,000 - $87,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
