Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Civil Estimator position include:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy civil estimating
- Proficiency with Bid2Win, Insight (3D takeoffs), and PlanSwift (2D takeoffs)
- Ability to estimate projects ranging from $1M - $25M (average $5M–$7M)
- Develop detailed cost estimates and labor projections for highway, site, and utility projects
- Conduct plan and spec reviews, and attend occasional site visits (within 45 minutes)
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to align estimates with project scope
- Assist with bid preparation and ensure deadlines are met
- Contribute to a stable, collaborative estimating team of four estimators
Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
