We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent for large-scale, complex commercial projects based in the Atlanta, GA area. This opportunity is with a highly respected and long-established construction company with more than 50 years of successful operations in the U.S. Their specialty lies in mega manufacturing facilities, often over 1 million sq. ft., with projects regularly exceeding $100 million in value. Qualifications and responsibilities for this General Superintendent position include:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or Field Engineer, ideally with projects over $100M and in manufacturing environments
- Oversee all field operations, including site safety, schedule, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
- Must have deep knowledge of CSA and/or MEP construction methods
- Review construction and shop drawings, ensuring feasibility and accurate execution
- Ensure OSHA and company safety standards are strictly followed on-site
- Manage daily field reports, track progress through construction software (e.g., Procore)
- Handle QA/QC, material receiving, punch lists, and change orders with subcontractors
- Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills to manage multiple scopes concurrently
Salary: $120,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 15 days of PTO, 10 days of sick leave, 16 paid holidays (3 of which are floating holidays), a 401(k) with company match (50% match up to 5%), a $500 monthly truck allowance, $100 cell phone stipend, $3,000 monthly per diem, and paid trips home every three weeks for one weekend.
