Take the lead in managing large-scale residential new construction painting operations in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, Florida with one of the region’s most established and trusted subcontractors! With over 30 years in the industry and partnerships with major homebuilders, this company is looking for a Field Operations Manager – New Construction Painting to take their team to the next level. This is an incredible growth opportunity for someone with strong residential painting experience who’s ready to lead multiple field teams and grow into a senior leadership role.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Field Operations Manager – New Construction Painting position include:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing new construction painting projects in residential or related sectors
- Proven ability to manage and supervise multiple field crews and project managers across several job sites
- Hands-on field leadership; must be comfortable being on-site and actively involved in day-to-day operations
- Experience with construction scheduling software such as SupplyPro or BuildPro preferred
- Oversight of up to 7 crews, 2 project managers, and 2 field superintendents – coordinating workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
- Familiarity with large subdivision projects and volume residential home building (1,500+ homes/year)
- Focused on operational management (not financials), ensuring quality, efficiency, and workforce coordination
- Must be local to South Florida or willing to relocate; relocation assistance considered for the right candidate
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Performance-based incentives available.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including two weeks of paid vacation, a gas card, and vehicle maintenance coverage. For the right candidate, a company vehicle and relocation assistance may be considered.
