We’re hiring an Experienced HVAC/R or Oil/Gas Service Technician in Colchester, VT to support commercial clients with refrigeration, HVAC, and gas-fired appliance repair. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Experienced HVAC/R or Oil/Gas Service Technician position include:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or gas/oil systems
- Vermont Natural Gas / LP license and EPA 608 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
- Service and install gas-fired appliances and combustion systems
- Respond to emergency and on-call service needs as part of rotating schedule
- Use field service software and iPads for scheduling and reporting (training provided)
- Maintain service van, parts inventory, and tools to professional standards
- Strong customer service, communication, and diagnostic skills
Salary: $30 - $45 per hour, commensurate with experience.
