This Engineering Soil Technician opportunity offers hands-on, outdoor field work with real project impact and room to grow.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Engineering Soil Technician position include:
- 1+ year of relevant experience in construction materials testing/field work
- ACI Grade 1 Concrete certification (required) and ICC-Soils certification (required)
- Nuclear Gauge Certification is preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a good driving record
- Open availability, as working hours vary based on client needs
- Work at job sites throughout Georgia; the ASEC office is based in Mableton, GA
- Move, lift, or carry materials up to 50 lbs. without assistance and physically maneuver around construction sites
- Comprehend written/verbal communications in English and communicate directly and over the telephone
Salary: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (starting pay depends on experience).
