We’re seeking an experienced E&I Automotive Electrical Project Manager for a full-time, direct-hire position based in the Detroit, MI area. Join a trusted electrical contractor known for supporting major automotive clients with process and assembly line electrical installations. This is a rare opportunity to lead quoting and project management for specialized automotive work where your ability to read machinery and robotic layout drawings will set you apart. Qualifications and responsibilities for this E&I Automotive Electrical Project Manager position include:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in project management
- Proven ability to estimate and manage automotive process and assembly line electrical work
- Skilled in reading robotic/machinery layout drawings and preparing electrical hookup proposals
- Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
- Familiarity with union labor coordination and collective bargaining environments
- Proficient in project tracking software; Accubid experience is a plus
- Ensure safety and quality compliance across all job sites
- Coordinate with rigging contractors and clients throughout project executio
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
