Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Project Engineer position include:
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction or a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; support Project Managers throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Experience with light industrial, self-storage, or similar commercial asset classes preferred; assist with coordination from preconstruction through close-out.
- Proficiency in Procore (100% company-wide usage), Bluebeam, and Excel; manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Strong understanding of construction documents and contract types (AIA/DBIA); maintain accurate contracts, purchase orders, and virtual close-out binders.
- Financial coordination skills; validate invoices, track commitments, and assist with monthly reporting and percent-complete verification.
- Strong communication abilities; act as liaison between subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and office staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; support bidding, estimating, and trade partner outreach.
- Commitment to safety and compliance; maintain OSHA logs and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
