Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Inspector position include:
- Minimum of 5+ years of construction inspection and oversight experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in construction technology or management is a plus.
- NICET certification or similar civil construction/inspection certifications are a plus.
- Experience in municipal infrastructure projects such as roadway resurfacing, water distribution systems, sanitary and storm sewer systems, and park and recreation facilities.
- Ability to split time between office and field (approximately 50/50).
- Must be comfortable with local travel to project sites (no overnight travel required).
- Strong documentation and communication skills for reporting and project updates.
- Capable of working independently and coordinating with contractors and engineering teams.
Salary: $55,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
