Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Controller position include:
- 8+ years of experience in construction finance/accounting, specifically within NJ public works and DOT projects
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel; openness to implementing new systems for improved efficiency
- Oversee invoicing, receivables, bank reconciliations, and job costing
- Provide financial guidance and reporting on project profitability and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with NJ DOT standards and public works regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and executives to align financial strategies with operational goals
- Assist in bidding, estimating, and financial planning for public works contracts
- Maintain internal controls and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
