We’re currently seeking Commissioning Agents in Cleveland, OH and Canonsburg, PA (Greater Pittsburgh) to join a collaborative team specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building envelope systems. This is your opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that serves as the owner’s advocate—ensuring critical systems operate as intended while solving complex building challenges. Whether it’s new construction, retro-commissioning, or re-commissioning, you’ll be part of delivering real-world results across some of the region’s most innovative and high-impact building projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commissioning Agent (Cx / Re-Cx / RCx) position include:
- Experience with MEP systems, building automation, or building envelope systems
- Inspect and test HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems on-site
- Ability to read and interpret building plans, specifications, and schematics
- Perform system tests via BMS/BAS or conduct hands-on evaluations for legacy systems
- Document issues, maintain logs, and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and facilities teams
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports with supporting test data and resolution tracking
- QCxP certification or equivalent is a plus; familiarity with BMS preferred
- Support owner training and building turnover process as required
