Description
Build your future as a Commercial Superintendent (Ground Up) in Mishawaka, Indiana, where you will lead major ground-up commercial construction projects with a stable, growing contractor known for consistent workflow across both public and private sectors. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Superintendent (Ground Up) position include:
- 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a focus on commercial and/or industrial projects
- Must have commercial new construction ground-up experience (self-storage ground up project experience is a plus)
- Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure timely project completion
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations
- Manage project progress through daily logs, photos, and reporting tools while maintaining quality control
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and keep work moving forward
- Proficiency with Procore is preferred; multi-story self-storage ground-up project experience is a plus
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with 100% employer match up to 3% and 50% match up to 5% after 1 year, 15 days of PTO, an end-of-year bonus of 4% to 10% of salary, local-only travel, vehicle allowance, and relocation assistance.
