Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Team Leader position include:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining, with preference for Swiss-style machines, especially Citizen brand
- Prior leadership experience required; must be able to train operators and coordinate workflow for a team of 5–6 machinists
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators)
- Knowledge of materials such as stainless steel, copper, and aluminum, and their machinability
- Operate and monitor 3–4 CNC machines during first shift; maintain product specifications and conduct in-process quality checks
- Assign operators to machines, manage shift priorities, and ensure completion of logs, audits, and shift reports
- Provide hands-on training, monitor employee performance, and communicate with management about progress and issues
- Physically assist with packing, shipping prep, and proper facility shutdown at end of shift
Salary: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
