CNC Machinist Set Up position in Windsor, CT! Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist Set Up position include:
- 3+ years of CNC setup experience with a strong understanding of milling operations.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including Okuma, DMU85, DMU654, and HAAS equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment while following safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, handle small parts and tools, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Salary: $30 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
