Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist Programmer position include:
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience; create, edit, and optimize CNC programs while setting up and operating machines on the shop floor
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as GibbsCAM, Mastercam, or Esprit; verify tool paths and improve machining efficiency
- Ability to set up and operate Swiss (Citizen), Mill-Turn (Mazak), or CNC Milling machines (HAAS or Mazak); produce parts to precise specifications
- Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills; perform dimensional verification using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and vision systems
- Troubleshoot machine issues, program errors, and process inefficiencies; implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in job shop or mixed production environments; support multiple machines and complex part runs
- Maintain quality documentation, traceability, and inspection records while following safety and quality standards
- Provide guidance to operators or setup machinists and support training and process development when needed
Salary: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr, commensurate with experience.
