Qualifications and responsibilities for this CMM Programmer position include:

  • 3–5 years of experience programming CMMs using CALYPSO software – Develop, edit, and implement CMM programs for moderately complex part applications.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector – Perform surface plate layout and inspection using conventional measurement tools.
  • Ability to program articulating and fixed head CMMs – Set up, prove out programs, and ensure accuracy while preventing crashes or faulty outputs.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5M-2009 – Read and interpret technical drawings and validate dimensional requirements.
  • Experience with technical software such as Calypso, SolidWorks, and MS Office – Generate reports, spreadsheets, and inspection documentation.
  • Understanding of ISO quality requirements and quality control tools – Ensure all parts meet customer and internal quality standards.
  • Team collaboration and communication skills – Work closely with CNC programmers, engineers, and quality teams to support production.
  • Ability to train others and support inspection processes – Train operators and junior programmers while assisting with inspection reports and quality documentation.

Salary: $40-$45/hr, commensurate with experience.
