We are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative team in Charolotte, NC. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key role with long-term stability, challenging projects, minimal travel, and a flexible hybrid schedule with only one mandatory in-office day per week!
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 20+ years of experience in HVAC design for commercial and institutional buildings, preferably within an MEP firm serving architectural clients
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required; experience with Trace 700 for load calculations or energy modeling is a plus
- Strong knowledge of hydronic systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, and building automation systems
- Hospital and healthcare project experience is preferred
- Ability to perform HVAC system design, client communication, and site inspections
Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
