Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAD Designer (Soft Goods) position include:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in soft goods or textile CAD design
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, and SolidWorks (or similar)
- Ability to read and draft technical blueprints, and convert 3D models into 2D outputs
- Experience operating or programming automated cutting machines (AutoMetrix preferred)
- Experience with nesting and material optimization for textile applications
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with prototyping and production environments preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish/English and experience with aerospace/defense materials is a plus
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
