This firm is recognized for delivering top-tier inspection and engineering services to both public and private sector clients across the region. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Bridge and Highway Inspector position include:
- ACI and NICET Level II (or above) certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- Experience conducting structural inspections for bridges, overpasses, and highways
- Proficiency in evaluating bridge paint/coating systems and documenting corrosion protection
- Ability to generate detailed reports with photos and technical recommendations
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards (NBIS, AASHTO)
- Familiarity with cost estimation, budgeting, and construction inspection software
- Willingness to work in varied field conditions including heights, confined spaces, and near traffic
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
